3月25日，西班牙驻成都总领事馆正式开馆，领区范围包括四川省、贵州省、云南省和重庆市。

“西班牙文化灿烂、人杰地灵，是欧洲文明古国。中西两国友好交往历史源远流长，西班牙是四川在欧洲的重要合作伙伴。近年来，双方在经贸投资、人文交流领域开展了富有成效的合作。”四川省委常委、副省长李云泽在开馆仪式上表示，希望四川省与西班牙以此次开馆为新起点，深化人文交流，加强文化、教育、旅游、体育等领域务实合作，共同传承中西友谊。
